Free Color by Number Printables

Every design below is a piece of pixel art from the Repixel library. Click a design to open its printable page. From there, hit Print and your browser will format it as a one-page color-by-number sheet — clean grid, numbered cells, color legend, no ads. Save it as a PDF from the print dialog if you want a digital copy.

Best used with fine-tip markers or crayons. Kids love them. Adults find them unreasonably relaxing. Teachers use them as quiet-time activities.

Phones are great, but there are moments a paper color-by-number wins:

• Classrooms. One printout per kid, done. No device management, no screens.
• Long car rides. Bring a clipboard, a pack of crayons, and a pile of printed pages. Entertainment for hours, no battery.
• Restaurant kid packs. Staple a few together and you have a themed activity book.
• Craft parties and sleepovers. Guests take their finished artwork home.
• Therapy and recovery. Occupational therapists use color-by-number to rebuild hand coordination. Paper is more tactile than tapping glass.
